What does this include?
This offer includes a one-hour guided tour, hosted by local Storytellers, which will walk you and your ‘Da’ through the life of the former St. James Church and how it came to be Pearse Lyons Distillery. Our Storytellers will regale you and ‘Pops’ with intriguing tales dating back to the 12th Century before you enter the distillery to smell, touch and taste each step of the whiskey distilling process. Here, you and the ‘old man’ will have the opportunity to chat with our distillers and see first-hand how to produce some of the finest Irish Whiskey Dublin has to offer.
Taste four unique Pearse Irish Whiskeys
That’s not all, at our tasting bar, Pearse’s Place, you will have the opportunity to taste four unique Irish Whiskeys; Pearse Original, a grain and malt whiskey blend aged in bourbon casks for 3-5 years. Pearse Distiller’s Choice, a blend of grain and malt whiskey aged in bourbon and sherry casks for 4-9 years. Pearse Founder’s Choice, a distinctive 12-year old single malt and finally Pearse Cooper’s Select, a grain and malt whiskey originally ages in bourbon casks and re-casked in Oloroso sherry casks to create a full flavoured special finish.
