We invite you to come and enjoy the unique experience of a real working distillery in a Church. Our team at Pearse Lyons Distillery have created four tailored experiences to suit all interests. Discover our fascinating local history, compelling characters and, of course, our signature Pearse Irish Whiskey at Dublin’s only boutique distillery. Each experience is designed to tempt the taste buds, reveal the traditions of Irish Whiskey distilling and immerse you in the history and culture of the Liberties, Dublin.

PRIVATE TOURS AT PEARSE LYONS DISTILLERY

On this tour you will meet our head distiller who will guide you through the Irish Whiskey distilling process from start to finish. Here, you get to touch, taste and smell the different stages of whiskey production. At our tasting bar, you will be offered four signature Pearse Irish Whiskeys. The private tour ends with complimentary post-drinks in McCann’s bar on the distillery site. Minimum size for tour: 15

COCKTAIL EXPERIENCES AT PEARSE LYONS DISTILLERY

Guided by our Pearse Irish Whiskey mixologist, you can create and enjoy modern day cocktails with traditional Irish Whiskey. Light refreshments are served to compliment the beverages and the experience ends with complimentary post-drinks in McCann’s bar. Minimum size for tour: 8

PEARSE IRISH WHISKEY FOOD PAIRING EXPERIENCE

Discover how whiskey and food can be best enjoyed together with this unique tasting and learning experience. Here, our distillery team work with local food producers to source seasonal food pairings that best complement our four signature whiskeys.

Minimum size for tour: 10

THE ART OF WHISKEY DISTILLING EXPERIENCE

This experience is a VIP tour for intimate groups who will enjoy whiskey tasting with speciality food pairings, followed by the opportunity to create and blend your own Irish Whiskey guided by our head distiller.  This experience is followed by complimentary post-drink in McCann’s bar. Minimum size for tour: 10 (Max. 20)

Whether you are a Dubliner discovering more about your city, culturally curious or an intrepid whiskey enthusiast, join us to discover more about our boutique Irish Whiskey distillery at St. James in the heart of The Liberties.

While whiskey is only part of our story, it is a big part of your experience with us. You can sip and savour our range of craft Irish Whiskeys in the nave of the church as our small-batch copper pot stills are hard at work distilling our next batch.

Guided tours are hosted by our team of friendly storytellers, who will regale you with intriguing tales of fascinating local history and compelling characters dating back to the 12th Century. Our distillery tours are small in size so that you can enjoy a more personal experience and they run every hour, on the hour.
