Pearse Lyons Distillery shortlisted for Major Tourism Award 2019

Pearse Lyons Distillery in one of five finalists who have been shortlisted for the Best Dublin Visitor Experience (less than 100,000 visitors) at the 2019 Irish Tourism Industry Awards. The submission was based on its distillery tours and tastings experiences, which showcase high standards of hospitality excellence and customer service. The submission also focused on promoting Dublin as a vibrant city, side by side with nature, while enhancing incremental tourism activity and its economic contribution to the Liberties, Dublin.

The awards, which take place every two years, are organised by the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC), Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland and industry partners. The Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and success within tourism, Ireland’s largest indigenous industry and one that employs 254,000 around the country. This year’s ceremony takes place on Friday 1st February in the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin.
